Marsberg (Church Square)
Open countryside, sparse forests, and a rolling terrain characterize this route, although there are no long climbs.
Right after the start in Marsberg, the first hill—nearly 400 meters high—awaits cyclists. After a short descent into the valley, the route climbs again to the Thielekopf, which is also 400 meters high. The tour then descends to the Twiste Reservoir, followed by a moderate 10 km stretch.
Before and after Korbach, however, the undulating route continues all the way to Giershaben, from where it’s all downhill back to Marsberg.
