This easy hike starts at the Hohes Rad parking lot and leads through the beautiful landscape around Diemelsee. The path is asphalted and unpaved, making it suitable for sporty baby carriages.
There are always great views of the Diemelsee on your hike on the H4, parts of which run together with the Diemelsteig variant. In Heringhausen, you will find various places to stop for a bite to eat and linger.
Hiking trail H4 is also known as the "snake trail" by the locals. But don't worry, this name only refers to the shape of the path. Real snakes don't live here.

Directions
Follow the H4 for 1.8 km and then turn left. Walk another 400 m and then turn right. Follow this section for another 950 m before turning left again. Without turning off, walk another 2 km back to the Diemelsee lakeside path and then turn left to return to the starting point "Hohes Rad parking lot".
