The Bismarckturm, located at the highest point of the Soester Börde, offers a view stretching for kilometers across the fertile fields of the Haarstrang and the foothills of the Arnsberg Forest. On days with good visibility, the 18-meter-high platform even offers a view all the way to the Dortmund TV Tower and the Hermann Monument in the Teutoburg Forest. Located north of Lake Möhnesee near Wippringsen, the Bismarck Tower is now a popular stop for hikers and cyclists.

  • The parking lot is located directly next to the Bismarckturm.
  • The parking lot is gravel.
  • Inside, a steep staircase with a handrail leads to the various levels and up to the observation dome.
  • There is no elevator.
  • There are no restrooms nearby.

Open for guided tours at 10 a.m. on Tuesdays during the NRW school vacations.
