- Round trip
Sundern
Sundern
From the start in Sundern, there is a steep climb along the L 685, a fairly busy country road, to Arnsberg. In Arnsberg you meet the Ruhr, on the left-hand side of which you cycle a short distance through the "Alte Feld" and around the "Kurfürstlicher Thiergarten".
The route finally leads via Wenniglohe, Hachen and Tiefenhagen to the dam of the Sorpesee. Here you take another ascent to the observation tower above the Sorpesee and via the K 34 back to the L687, the shore road of the Sorpesee. The tour continues along the cycle path separated from the road to Amecke. Cross the bridge over the dam that separates the pre-basin from the main basin of the reservoir. Continue along the forebay along the Amecke Promenade with its beautifully laid out Airlebnisweg.
Another steep ascent via the L686 takes you back to Sundern, the starting point of the tour, via the villages of Stockum and Seidfeld.
