Information

Directions

We start the Julius-Ursell-Weg at the fire pond. From now on, we follow the signposts for this path. From here, we head north along Ennester Weg . After approx. 200 m, we keep right towards the Jewish cemetery. It is located at the end of the street "Am Himmelsberg". At the cemetery, we continue slightly to the left towards the steps leading down to the right. Follow this to the street "Am Glockenberg", then turn right down to the Nordwall. Things get a little more complicated here. We keep right for 80 meters. Here we find a small alley branching off to the left. We follow it for 20 m, then turn right for 10 m, left into Brunnengasse for approx. 30 m until we reach Ennester Straße.Turn right again and after approx. 10 m turn left into the small street "Am Kirchplatz". After approx. 30 m we come to Truchsessgasse and turn left towards Sauerland Cathedral. We circle the cathedral until we reach Kölner Straße and turn right. After approx. 25 m, we turn left into Weingäßchen. After approx. 30 m we enter Breite Techt. Continue straight ahead for 30 m, then turn left for 5 m to reach the next reference point. From here we go through the Torenkasten (approx. 50 m) and turn right through the "Neumarkt" alley towards the town hall. Now follow Kölner Straße until you reach Kölner Tor.After approx. 300 m, we turn left onto Südwall, which we walk along until behind the Attandrara School. Turning right twice (Auf der Tränke, Zollstock) brings us back to Kölner Straße, where our next destination is 50 m to the right and another 20 m to the left. We return to the street "Am Zollstock", where we came from, as far as the barriers. We cross the tracks to the right and also the following Biggebrücke bridge. The footpath parallel to the Bigge begins directly behind the bridge. We take a sharp left before the petrol station and follow the signpost to the SGV hut and the Attendorn landmark "Biggeblick". From up here, we have a wonderful panoramic view of the Biggesee and the surrounding mountains. We now leave this beautiful place and walk downhill towards the Waldenburg campsite. Via beautiful forest paths, we finally reach the "Waldenburger Weg" at the Waldenburg restaurant, which we follow for a further 500 m to our next port of call.Continuing towards the city center, we turn left at the Aral Tankstelle onto Am Wassertor, pass the Biggebrücke bridge again and continue straight ahead along Wasserstraße to Ostwall. We keep to the right and reach the next starting point. 20 m further on, in front of the Kolpinghaus, we turn left through a small ravine to Gerbergraben.Turn left and immediately right again through Bleichergasse to Hofestatt. Turn right and immediately left again into the small street to reach Im Sackhof, which we follow to the left until we reach Wasserstrasse again and thus our next points on the right and left. We continue to the Alter Markt square. We cross the market slightly to the right and after approx. 100 m reach the Cafe Harnischmacher. Behind the cafe, we turn left across Ennester Straße and return to our starting point at Feuerteich. There is a shortened version of the path! Please pay attention to the signs!!!
