Enjoy the magic of nature as the seasons change on the three Stormbruch hiking trails and take a break at the leisure facility, barbecue station, water treading facility or with your children at the children's playground.

Three kilometers further on is the district of Heringhausen with the beautiful Diemelsee. With various leisure and refreshment facilities, the village invites you to discover and linger.

Short sections of the "St4 - Rund um den Bülsenberg" hiking trail run together with the Diemelsteig and the Diemelsee-Heringhausen hiking trail "H4". The hiking trail leads mostly through open fields and past the "Große Eschenseite" and "Kleine Eschenseite" forest areas. From the Aussiedlerhof "Vor dem Eichholz" you have a wonderful view of Diemelsee and "over" to Heringhausen. The trail then leads us back through fields and meadows to the starting point in the center of Stormbruch.

Directions

From the starting point in the center of Diemelsee-Stormbruch, the St4 hiking trail runs westwards for a short distance together with the St3 (hiking trail to the Koppen circular trail near Diemelsee-Stormbruch) before forking off and meeting the Diemelsteig trail in a northerly direction. After a short section together, the St3 leaves the Diemelsteig trail again in an easterly direction, where the hiking trail meets the Diemelsee-Heringhausen hiking trail H4 after another short stretch. From here, hikers can continue along the H4 to Diemelsee. If you want to hike back to Stormbruch, take the junction in a southerly direction back to the starting point in Diemelsee-Stormbruch.
