Die Dommelrunde ist eine schöne kleine Waldrunde von ca. 3 km und führt rund um den Dommelturm.

Zu erreichen ist der Dommelturm mit dem Auto über die Kreisstraße 63 von Diemelsee-Ottlar Richtung Willingen-Rattlar. Zwischen den beiden Ortschaften verlassen Sie die Kreisstraße und folgen der Beschilderung zum Dommelturm bis zum Wanderparkplatz.

Ab hier geht es zu Fuß weiter. Eine schöne kleine Waldrunde rund um den Dommelturm wartet auf Sie. Bis auf den kleinen Anstieg am Anfang, ist der Rundwanderweg leicht zu meisten und auch für Ungeübte geeignet.

Ein kleiner Tipp: Eine schöne Optik zum Sonnenuntergang haben Sie auch 500 m entfernt vom Parkplatz. Einfach dem Weg 50 m runter gehen, dann links weiter. Kurz darauf an der Kreuzung rechts auf die lange Gerade. Hier geht die Sonne über den Bergen unter.

Directions

From the "Dommel" hiking parking lot, turn right onto the circular trail around the Dommel. After 900 m, turn left onto the path that takes you to the Dommel tower viewing tower. Enjoy the fantastic view of the Sauländer mountains from the highest mountain in the municipality of Diemelsee before returning along the same path and turning left again on the circular path around the Dommel back to the "Dommel" hiking parking lot. Alternatively, you can also take the steep path straight ahead from the "Dommel" parking lot to the Dommel tower.
