Körbecke Weg in Hiddingsen
Körbecke Weg in Hiddingsen
The stone cist, a Neolithic gallery grave, is located on the north-western edge of the protected area.
The Bismarckturm three kilometers southeast of the Kleiberg on the B 229 between Wippringsen and Delecke offers a view over almost the entire Westfalen Bay.
Four kilometers south of the Kleiberg lies the Möhnesee, two kilometers north the Hanseatic town of Soest with its numerous old churches and half-timbered houses and its almost completely preserved town wall.
An extensive network of mainly gravel paths makes the Kleiberg accessible to pedestrians and cyclists. Some of the ascents are too steep for wheelchairs. On this circular route, there are two observation mounds in the middle and east of the reserve, which are around four meters high and accessible via steps.
Ein Fernglas zur Vogelbeobachtung ist empfehlenswert.
You can reach the area via the B 229 (Soest - Arnsberg). To the south of the A44, turn off to Hiddingsen. In Hiddingsen, follow the signs to the "Steinkiste" restaurant.Address for navigation: Körbecker Weg, 59494 SoestGPS (UTM): 32 U 438563, 5709473Google coordinates: 51.533962, 8.114449
