Hiking trail G3 takes you above the Aussiedlerhof farm "Am Stein", where you can enjoy a wonderful view of the Diemelsee. The trail continues in a large loop around the Nensten mountain, along a lovely stream valley and back to the starting point at the "Dorfgemeinschaftshaus" Giebringhausen hiking parking lot.
A few kilometers further on is the Diemelsee, which invites you to swim and splash around in summer. There are also numerous leisure opportunities, such as the Visionarium Nature Park Center, the Diemelsee GeoFoyer or the Adeventure Golf Park at Diemelsee. In Heringhausen you will find various places to stop for refreshments after a long hike.
