The tour leads through the Sauerland and Bergisches Land along natural streams, impressive reservoirs and through historic town centers.

Starting from Meinerzhagen train station, there are some hilly sections to conquer first. Cycling through the idyllic Kerspetal valley, you reach Halver. From there, you cross the historic town centers of Radevormwald, Hückeswagen and Wipperfürth.

The return journey from Hückeswagen is only slightly uphill along the Bergisch panoramic cycle path, a former railroad line. From Marienheide, you can cover the difference in altitude to the starting point by train or cycle back along the Lingesetalsperre reservoir.

The tour can also be extended via Breckerfeld or shortened via Wipperfürth. Please note the junctions.
