In the middle of Germany, you can enjoy peace and relaxation along the entire route in a varied river landscape and discover culture and eventful stories. Experience how the clear water of the Diemel pours from the bubbling spring into the stream bed and then develops into a real river. Cycle from Usseln through the beautiful wooded region of the Diemelsee Nature Park to your first overnight stop, Heringhausen am Diemelsee, without any major inclines.
There is plenty to keep you entertained at Diemelsee: passenger boat trips, the Adventure Golf Park, the Visionarium Heringhausen Nature Park Center, Heringhausen lido and the Heringhausen family and adventure pool are waiting to be discovered by you. Over the next few days, the route continues via Marsberg, Warburg and Trendelburg to Bad Karlshafen on the Weser.
The river cycle path is easy to cycle on a weekend.
z. Between Lisbon and Porto, for example, the infrastructure is not yet so well developed. The stages from one accommodation to the next can therefore be long and adventurous.
