From the train station in Meschede, you start this hike by first walking under the underpass and following Warstein Straße to the right. At the next junction, turn left into Pulverturmstraße and follow the road up the hill until the road splits. Choose Von-Westphalenstraße and follow it to its end, where you arrive at the highway bridge. From here, turn left and head towards the village of Enste.As soon as you arrive above Enste, turn right towards Stimmstamm. On the way, you cross Hirschberg Straße (L856), pass a television tower and a shooting lodge before reaching the Stimmstamm. Here you have reached the highest point of the route and can stop and rest before venturing downhill towards Kohlwedertal, crossing the B55 and K45 on the way. You then walk along the Hardt to Gasthaus Deitmecke, which is located on the outskirts of Meschede. From there, follow Hardestraße, which leads back to the railroad underpass and on to Meschede railroad station.
