Bike Arena Sauerland - Diemelsee circuit

Sauerland-Seen / Outdooractive Touren / Bike Arena Sauerland - Diemelsee circuit

After starting at the visitor center in Willingen, the route first takes us to Usseln, where a 4 km long descent awaits us at the end of the village at an altitude of approx. 600 m until the turn-off to Eimelrod.
Once in the village center of Deisfeld, the 7 km long descent to Benkhausen and Adorf follows.
In two "waves" we ride back towards Upland via Sudeck and Rhenegge. Before that, we reach Diemelsee in Heringhausen and cycle around it. Around the lake, there are several places to take a short break.
The foothills of Hochsauerland tower up on both sides of the road.
The destination is at the foot of the Ettelsberg massif with the Hochheideturm towering above it. After a refreshing shower in the lagoon pool and a leisurely cappuccino in one of the many cafés, we can get ready for the road bike tours of the following days.
