Moehnesee-Koerbecke
The great Möhnesee tour leads through the three types of landscape that characterize the municipality of Möhnesee: Meadows, water and forest. The center of the municipality is the Möhnesee. The main lake with the Möhne tributary stretches in an east-west direction over a length of approx. 10 km through the Möhnetal. Along the northern shore you will find a large selection of restaurants, leisure facilities and other tourist attractions. The southern part of the lake, with the Heve as a tributary, is partly a nature reserve and is an important breeding and resting place for many species of waterfowl. The extensive Arnsberg Forest begins to the south of the lake.
