Safe hiking trail without any significant impairment due to tree felling work. Due to the high tar content of the paths, also good for walking in muddy weather.

Information

Directions

From the parking lot on Strandweg Amecke (subject to charge), first return to Amecker Straße and then diagonally opposite onto Höpkeweg. The Am3 and Am4 hiking trails run alongside the fire station parking lot, which you follow to Eichenberg. Along the way, you can enjoy the idyllic Sorpebach stream, marvel at Amecke Castle and its golf course as well as the mini village of Henninghausen. Once you reach the spider trail, turn right with the white triangle hiking sign and circle the aforementioned Eichenberg. Beautiful views of the Sorpesee await you here. When the white triangle turns left, continue straight ahead, now without markings. Shortly before the barbecue hut, follow a path to the right which takes you back to the golf course. Here you can stop for refreshments at the Cafe Weitblick. Follow the familiar path back to the parking lot on Strandweg.

Author Tip
