The Meinerzhagen Volkspark is located between the town center and the train station, opposite the Meinerzhagen town hall. Numerous small paths, connected and crossing each other, beautiful green areas and a stream with a small body of water invite you to linger, especially on sunny days. The numerous benches offer space to relax and a small playground in the upper area, as well as the great tree house playground in the lower area, ensure that even the youngest visitors won't get bored.
In the middle of the park is the restored villa in the park, which has been turned back into a real gem. Another new playground for young and old has also been created in the park, which offers a large climbing and play element for younger children as well as outdoor fitness equipment for older visitors.
Event tip: In late summer / early fall, the convivial wine festival takes place in the unique ambience of the Volkspark.
