The Möhnesee dam wall is imposing and majestic. Completed in 1913 after just four years of construction, destroyed in the Second World War and rebuilt within a few months, the 650-metre-long and up to 40-metre-high structure still impresses visitors today. The tour guides provide entertaining information about the technology and its eventful history.
