Hiking tip for the southern loop of the Veischede Sun Trail: The 13 km circular route of the southern loop of the Veischede Sun Trail, with its sometimes challenging ascents and descents, requires a good level of fitness. The reward is magnificent panoramic views over the Veischede valley with its impressive flora. Further information about the hiking trail can be found here.
Circular hiking tip A4: On the A4 you hike along the Fahlenscheid ski area. Accompanied by beautiful views, the 7 km circular trail takes you to the Rahrbacher Weidekamp and runs along the open meadow landscapes of the Rahrbruch and around the Stemberg back to the starting point.
Circular hiking tip A3: The 4.5 km long circular trail A3 shows us the Rehringhausen Forest with its different forest landscapes, murmuring marshes and diverse flora. In the lower section, there is an exciting "beekeeping nature trail" with several interesting stations.
Short winter hike: The 6 km long hike in the Fahlenscheid ski area is ideal for a walk in the snow. You can find the route here.
