The historic knight's estate in the south of Meinerzhagen is now privately owned and can therefore only be visited from the outside. The first documented entries date back to the year 1621, when the Elector of Brandenburg, who also owned the nearby Badinghagen Castle, was granted recognition as a knight's estate for the Gut Listringhausen.
In 1903 the whole building was restored, so that nowadays there is nothing left of the historical building substance.
Not far from the manor lies the idyllic Genkeltalsperre, which invites you to walk and hike. The Bergische Panoramasteig and the Sauerland-Höhenflug long-distance hiking trail also run along here!
