Up to four e-bike riders can connect their batteries to either a USB plug or a 220V socket at the same time. During the charging process, the batteries are stored theft-proof in a metal compartment, which can be locked for a deposit of one euro, which is then refunded. There are bicycle stands in the immediate vicinity of the charging stations so that cyclists can stop for a bite to eat or a stroll before continuing their tour.
