Diving bay Diemelsee

Lake

Sauerland-Seen / Outdooractive POI / Diving bay Diemelsee

The diving bay at Diemelsee is not so easy to find. About 100 m from the barrier wall in the direction of Heringhausen, the diving bay is relatively inconspicuous below the Eisenberg. You can reach the stony shore via a beaten path.

The special feature: As this is a nature reserve, the qualification requirements for divers are very high and the number of underwater companions is therefore very limited.

Because the changing seasons always offer different underwater conditions, there is never a dull moment.

A special feature is a rocky outcrop that starts on the shore and ends in the water with a relatively vertical edge. Above all, however, it is the wildlife that makes it so attractive. Everything that the local fauna has to offer can be found here.
