Diemelsee

Lake Diemelsee is a true natural jewel. It lies idyllically in the landscape, on its shore the peaks St. Muffert and Eisenberg rise like a landmark. Anyone who climbs up here will be rewarded with a breathtaking view of the glittering water. The good water quality ensures a great abundance of fish, which is why the dam is very popular with anglers. Numerous circular and long-distance hiking trails are stretched like a net around the lake, the most famous being the Diemelsteig.
